Samples

Here are some of my recent projects.  From rock to pop, indie to country, jazz to classical and beyond, get a feel for what I can do for your music.

«Mixes»

Short clips of finished mixes in a variety of styles

Pete Mroz - Back When We Were We

A great tune from a talented singer-songwriter.

Love Sick Radio - I'm Not Dead Yet

A bouncy, catchy pop-oriented tune.  From the album of the same name.

Steve Maggiora - Long Way Home

A great track featuring some top session musicians.  Recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville.

Robert John and the Wreck - Good Lovin'

A band with a classic sound, and a great throwback tune.  Late 60's/early 70's groove with modern sonics.

Kaedyn Kashmir - Sliding Doors

From the album of the same name.

Steve Maggiora - Hey Lady

From the album When I Get You Alone, a great, funky piano and horn driven track.

Kaedyn Kashmir - Warrior

Co-written and recorded by Warren Huart in LA.  From the album Coming Home.

Wayne Haun - Are You Having Any Fun

A classic big band and vocal arrangement, featuring Ernie Haase.  From the album Old Soul.

Lizzy Long - Backwoods Lullaby

A bluegrass ballad, recorded in Nashville.  Featuring Destiny Rambo McGuire, from the 2015 album Blueberry Pie.

Warren Stone - Small Town, Big Deal

A country tune written and produced by Donna King and recorded in Nashville.  Warren Stone was featured on NBC's The Voice and is now a session singer and artist in Nashville.

Wayne Haun - Snow Covered Street

A holiday tune, with a latin tinge.  Recorded at Sony Studios in Nashville.

Olly Alcock - When I First Met the Blues

The name says it all - pure blues.

«Before and After»

Raw tracks first, followed by the finished mix

Watersedge - Secret Place

Every track was recorded with a cheap Shure SM57, and the raw tracks were messy to say the least.  Hear the difference I can make on even the roughest recordings.

The Long Wait - Dark Horses

Based in Arizona, The Long Wait have a folksy, vintage vibe and musical style.  I tried to take the sound from closed-in and stuffy to open and full.

«Writing/Programming»

All clips below were either composed or programmed by me using virtual instruments

Valse Nuage

Composed and programmed by me, featuring harp and solo cello.  The instruments used were the EastWest/Quantum Leap Hollywood Solo Cello and Hollywood Solo Harp.

Piano Piece #1

Written many years ago, I tried to copy the style of some of Prokofiev's piano music.  The whole piece is built around a 6-note motif.  The piano is a Steinway D.
